Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Blazkov (ranked 145 p4p, 56 weight class) and Ross Kemp (ranked 19 p4p, 6 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemp lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kemp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blazkov circles away quickly and effectively.
Blazkov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Blazkov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kemp swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Blazkov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kemp.

Blazkov throws the kick towards the body but Kemp avoids it.

It looked like Blazkov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kemp.

Kemp unleashes a big counter combination but Blazkov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ross Kemp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kemp takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
