The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Julius tries to bum rush Swoop with a series of wild strikes but Swoop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Julius slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Mathew Swoop has been cut.
Swoop shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Julius defends it nicely.
Julius pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Julius throws a body punch but Swoop moves out of range.
Mathew Swoop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swoop shoots in but no luck this time.
Swoop looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Julius drops Swoop with a nice combination! Julius dives into Swoop's guard, looking to finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Julius got a little sloppy there for a moment and Swoop has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Julius has managed to get both his arms back between Swoop's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Swoop moves forwards but Julius connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Julius connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Julius knocks Swoop out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
