Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh JC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadji Nosla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JC's entrance music is Smashmouth - Why Cant We Be Friends. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh JC!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sadji Nosla!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

JC shoots in and bounces Nosla off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nosla is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
JC missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
JC trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
JC is working hard here to advance position.
JC throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nosla works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
JC pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nosla is keeping the position for now.

Nosla scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Nosla throws a right and a left that both miss.
JC blocks a head kick by Nosla.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nosla lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Josh JC has been cut.
Sadji Nosla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

JC looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
JC thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
JC scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

JC is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nosla kicks off JC and gets to his feet.

JC shoots in and bounces Nosla off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
JC keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nosla's head.
JC has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nosla kicks JC off and gets to his feet.

JC drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nosla wants to get back to his feet but JC is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Nosla is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
JC trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nosla is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
JC throwing strikes from guard but Nosla blocks nicely.

JC drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nosla dives on top into guard.
JC is breathing heavily.
JC throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
JC tries to land a sweep but no joy.

JC looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nosla passes into side control.
JC is trying to work for a sweep but Nosla has mounted him!

JC is wriggling around trying to escape.
Nosla is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

Nosla is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Nosla throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by JC.
Nosla scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


Josh JC's cut is getting worse.
Nosla lands a nice looking body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
JC shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nosla pinned against the cage. Nosla gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nosla scores with a three punch combo!
Nosla misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
JC shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nosla but Nosla pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nosla throws a good cross that connects.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nosla lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
JC avoids the head kick by Nosla.
JC looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nosla is fending him off so far but JC persists. Nope, Nosla circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh JC. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nosla uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nosla goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nosla throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
JC dives in and grabs Nosla's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nosla pushes down on JC's head and hops out.
Nosla throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nosla misses with a head kick.
Nosla lands a slapping body shot.
Nosla looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

JC shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nosla is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
JC punching from mount but Nosla doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Nosla manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Nosla, under a barage of strikes from JC.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Nice takedown defense from Nosla. No joy for JC on that attempt.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from JC lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nosla has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nosla and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nosla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nosla plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nosla lands a head kick. JC smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


Josh JC's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

JC looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Nosla keeping full guard, as JC tries to pass.
Josh JC overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
JC prevents Nosla from getting back to his feet.

JC stands and throws Nosla's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

JC tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
An elbow from JC crashes against the mat.
Nosla pushes JC away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, JC gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
JC throwing shots but missing, from side control.
JC working the ground and pound but Nosla is defending the strikes.
Nosla prevents JC from moving into mount.
Nosla wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
JC tries to advance to mount but can't.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nosla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nosla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Josh JC is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
JC shoots in but Nosla avoids the takedown attempt easily.
JC takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nosla lands a front kick.
Nosla digs a good hook to JC's body.
JC takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nosla misses with a head kick.
Nosla throws a sloppy head kick and JC moves out of range easily.
Sadji Nosla seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nosla tries a head kick but it misses.
Nosla throws a big shot that misses.

JC closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nosla to the mat! Nosla manages to get full guard.
JC trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
JC content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
JC won't allow Nosla to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
JC scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
JC looking to pass the guard.
JC connects with a couple of short punches.
Nosla keeping full guard, as JC tries to pass.
JC stops Nosla from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
JC tries to bum rush Nosla with a series of wild strikes but Nosla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nosla tries a head kick but it misses.
Nosla fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
JC fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh JC. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nosla throws a head kick that misses.
Nosla tries a head kick but it misses.
JC wants to slow Nosla down by chopping away at his legs.
JC will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nosla is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by JC.
Nosla lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nosla fakes the leg kick and cracks JC in the body.
Nosla tries to bum rush JC with a series of wild strikes but JC uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

JC closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - JC lands in his opponent's guard.

Nosla pushes JC off and gets back to his feet.

JC shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nosla napping and manages to drive through into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Josh JC will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Josh JC's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Nosla throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
JC fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nosla is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Nosla swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

JC gets the takedown into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by JC.
Nosla is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but JC has just dragged him back down to the mat.

JC is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nosla looks calm but he's in trouble here. JC gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nosla is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! JC lets go of the hold and Nosla can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Josh JC!
