Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koichi Kamei (ranked 435 p4p, 1960 weight class) and Charlie Darwin (ranked 53 p4p, 214 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamei uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Darwin.
Darwin throws a lazy right hand but Kamei sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kamei slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Darwin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kameis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Kamei lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Darwin backs up against the cage.

Darwin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Darwin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Darwin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Darwin tests Kamei's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Darwin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kamei finds it's way round the side to connect with Darwin's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Darwin lands a big uppercut and Kamei crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kamei looks OK. Darwin waves Kamei back to his feet!
Darwin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Darwin cracks Kamei on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kamei falls backwards against the cage. Darwin follows up with more strikes that drop Kamei to his knees. Darwin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kamei! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Charlie Darwin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
