The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed cracks Kopolski with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Creed has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kopolski to stand back up!

Kopolski is rocked!

It looks like Grey Kopolski has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Creed with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kopolski is still on wobbly legs! Can Creed finish him?
Kopolski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Creed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kopolski.
Kopolski seems to have recovered his senses.

Kopolski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kopolski lands a nice short elbow.
Creed pushes Kopolski off looking to stand but Kopolski dives back in and keeps control.

Kopolski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Creed is trying to stand up here but Kopolski is controlling him well.

Creed pushes Kopolski off looking to stand but Kopolski dives back in and keeps control.

Creed pushes Kopolski off and gets back to his feet.
Kopolski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Creed tries to avoid it but Kopolski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Creed to the ground. Creed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Apollo Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grey Kopolski.

Creed misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Creed connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Creed slaps away a takedown attempt from Kopolski, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kopolski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Creed dances in with a quick combination. Kopolski is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Creed snaps Kopolski's head back. Kopolski stumbles backwards against the cage. Creed steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Kopolski's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Kopolski just didn't come prepared.
