The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
von Konkelberries swings for the body but Diggsby moves out of range.
von Konkelberries throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diggsby.
Diggsby tries to score a power double leg takedown but von Konkelberries sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Diggsby somewhat.
Paul von Konkelberries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
von Konkelberries throws a looping overhand right but Diggsby ducks down to avoid it.

It looks like Travis Diggsby has been cut.

Diggsby takes one on the chin but seems OK.

von Konkelberries gets caught flat footed, as Diggsby shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
von Konkelberries is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
von Konkelberries bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diggsby's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diggsby has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think von Konkelberries should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Diggsby has tightened it up now! von Konkelberries should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
