Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Li Xiaodong!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garbrandt moves out of range as Xiaodong strikes.
Garbrandt throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Xiaodong counters with a right hand to the body.
Garbrandt misses with a body shot
and Xiaodong counters with a nice uppercut.
Garbrandt lands a jab to Xiaodong's midsection.
Garbrandt tries to clinch but Xiaodong moves out of range.
Xiaodong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garbrandt.
Garbrandt loads up on a big right hand but Xiaodong slips the punch.

Garbrandt rushes Xiaodong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A frustrated look appears on Xiaodong's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Garbrandt digs a right hand underneath Xiaodong's ribcage. Xiaodong let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Xiaodong breaks the clinch.
Xiaodong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Garbrandt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Garbrandt is looking to clinch but Xiaodong is avoiding it.
Xiaodong looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Xiaodong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Good exchange - Garbrandt coming out on top.

Xiaodong moves away from the strike by Garbrandt.
Garbrandt tries to close the distance and clinch but Xiaodong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Xiaodong counters with a crisp right hand that drops Garbrandt! Xiaodong lets Garbrandt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Cody Garbrandt has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Xiaodong drops Garbrandt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Garbrandt looks back up at him and smiles so Xiaodong waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Garbrandt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Xiaodong counters with a big left hand that crumples Garbrandt! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
