The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jefferson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Genie scrambles back to his feet.
Jefferson is looking to slow Genie down with leg kicks.
Genie takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Genie breaks the clinch.

Jefferson lands a big head kick that sends Genie tumbling to the mat! Jefferson takes a step backwards and waves Genie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Sky Genie has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jefferson throws a quick head kick that knocks Genie silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Jefferson is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

In his post fight interview, Jayson Jefferson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
