Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Pyne (ranked 4361 p4p, 4398 weight class) and Duane Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 541 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Foreman has control of Pyne's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pyne regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foreman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pyne to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pyne shrugs it off.

Pyne is squirming around, avoiding Foreman's attempts to control the action.
Pyne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foreman on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Foreman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pyne keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pyne lands with a hook. Foreman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pyne cracks Foreman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Foreman ducks right into an uppercut from Pyne.

Pyne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Foreman's head.

It seemed like Foreman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Foreman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Foreman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Foreman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pyne has escaped the position, nice work there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foreman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pyne's waist but Pyne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Foreman off to one side.

Pyne digs a good hook to Foreman's body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pyne circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Foreman to the canvas! Foreman doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Pyne keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
