Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Kyshenko (ranked 3389 p4p, 2669 weight class) and Domaydo Cann (ranked 427 p4p, 352 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raul Kyshenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Domaydo Cann!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cann fails to land the takedown.
Cann stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cann wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Cann as Kyshenko shoots in.
Kyshenko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cann defends well and Kyshenko ends up having to push Cann into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cann has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kyshenko regains guard immediately.

Cann is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kyshenko defends well.

Cann pushes Kyshenko off and gets back to his feet.

Cann bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cann postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kyshenko takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Cann is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kyshenko has escaped the position, nice work there.

Cann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kyshenko manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kyshenko is stalling here. Cann is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kyshenko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cann has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Kyshenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cann on the ground.

Cann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Cann cracks Kyshenko with a big right hand but Kyshenko just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Domaydo Cann dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Kyshenko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kyshenko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cann tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kyshenko is in Cann's guard.

Cann has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kyshenko off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Kyshenko shoots in looking for a takedown but Cann manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kyshenko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kyshenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cann avoids it really well and circles away.

Kyshenko doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Cann closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kyshenko quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cann seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kyshenko is refusing to be controlled, as Cann sits in half guard.
Cann looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Cann thows a huge punch but Kyshenko dodges it nicely.
Kyshenko is trying to control but can't.

Cann takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Cann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kyshenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cann passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kyshenko!

Cann lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kyshenko is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cann fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cann has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kyshenko's face.
