Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Jakua (ranked 1969 p4p, 4262 weight class) and Morris Day (ranked 221 p4p, 385 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kris Jakua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Morris Day!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day shoots in for a double leg but Jakua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jakua connects with a good right hand that stumbles Day. Day circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Day changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jakua tries to avoid it but Day manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jakua to the ground. Jakua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Day tries for a takedown but Jakua sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kris Jakua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Morris Day.
Day is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jakua sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Jakua counters with a nice uppercut.
Jakua feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Days jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Jakua counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A quick step to the side and Jakua tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Jakua counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jakua punishes Day's body with a nice straight punch.

Jakua jabs Day to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Day takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice takedown defense from Jakua. No joy for Day on that attempt.

Oooooh!!! Jakua has knocked Day down with a huge combo! Jakua steps away and waves a wobbly Day back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Day is rocked!
Day loses concentration momentarily and Jakua pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Day crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Jakua finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
