Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Right Meow (ranked 5200 p4p, 5192 weight class) and Lucien Dego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Meow throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dego was covering up waiting for the punch and Meow finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Meow trying to control the position from guard on top but Dego is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dego really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Meow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dego can do anything to dispel that myth.

Meow cracks Dego with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lucien Dego's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
