Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Portgas throws a nice looking combination but Matsuhiko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Portgas shoots in for a takedown but Matsuhiko shows good takedown defense.
A combination from Portgas does no damage.
Matsuhiko dodges the punch combination from Portgas.
Portgas shoots in looking for a takedown. Matsuhiko tries to sprawl out of it but Portgas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Matsuhiko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Portgas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Portgas misses with the combination.
Matsuhiko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Portgas misses with a wild body shot.
Matsuhiko throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matsuhiko jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ace Portgas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Matsuhiko with that takedown attempt.

It looks like Ace Portgas has been cut.
Naoki Matsuhiko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ace Portgas.

and Matsuhiko counters with a huge left! Portgas is in big trouble! He's backing up but Matsuhiko isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Portgas from any more damage. A dominating finish by Matsuhiko!
