Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Akinwande (ranked 142 p4p, 202 weight class) and Alborz Mumu (ranked 17 p4p, 28 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alborz Mumu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akinwande ducks under a wild hook from Mumu.

Akinwande is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mumu throws a lazy head kick
and Akinwande counters with a three punch combo that has Mumu backing up. Mumu nods at Akinwande to acknowledge the strikes.

Akinwande is looking to slow Mumu down with leg kicks.
Akinwande throws out a loose jab but Mumu uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mumu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Akinwande.

and Akinwande takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Mumu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Akinwande! Mumu lets Akinwande back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Mumu counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Akinwande out cold! What a finish! Mumu is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
