Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zuillnic Canto (ranked 1089 p4p, 1066 weight class) and Long Wang (ranked 129 p4p, 144 weight class). Wang has chosen Mr. Self Destruct as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Long Wang enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canto lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Canto is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've been informed that Wang has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Wang looks to land a combination. Canto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Canto throws a leg kick but Wang checks it.
Canto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wang moves away.
Wang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Canto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Canto.

Wang takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Canto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A jab from Canto finds it's way through Wang's defenses.
Wang dives in for a single leg takedown but Canto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Zuillnic Canto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Long Wang.
Canto moves forwards but Wang connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Canto tries to bum rush Wang with a series of wild strikes but Wang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wang looks to land a left hand but Canto moved out of range nicely.
Canto stuffs the takedown attempt from Wang. Wang gets slowly back to his feet.

Canto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wang moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Canto wants to pass the guard but Wang is keeping the position.
Canto is working hard here to advance position.
Wang wants to sweep here but Canto controlling him for the moment.

Wang has his foot on Canto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Canto works his way back into a safe position though.

Wang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wang is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Canto is looking for a sweep. Wang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zuillnic Canto is winning the standup battle so far.
Canto avoids the body shot from Wang.

Wang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Canto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wang cracks a nice hook into Canto's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Canto's guard.
Canto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wang's guard.

Canto passes Wang's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Canto thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wang's head.
Wang is pressing down on Canto's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Canto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wang manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Canto has Wang in his guard.

An out of breath Long Wang thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
