PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kiso Akinaga (ranked 23552 p4p, 23491 weight class) and Oakley Fisher (ranked 564 p4p, 605 weight class). Akinaga comes to the cage accompanied by The HU - Wolf Totem. Fisher has chosen Bolt Thrower - Spearhead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fisher dives in and scores a takedown into Akinaga's guard.
Akinaga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fisher is one step ahead there.

Fisher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Akinaga is just riding it out for now. Fisher eventually gives up the hold.

Akinaga working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fisher doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fisher manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fisher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fisher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fisher is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Akinaga is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fisher quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Akinaga has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Fisher celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
