Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scotty DeGuardio (ranked 4567 p4p, 3901 weight class) and Irritable Asshole (ranked 489 p4p, 434 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scotty DeGuardio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

DeGuardio lands a big head kick that sends Asshole tumbling to the mat! DeGuardio takes a step backwards and waves Asshole back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Irritable Asshole has been cut.
Asshole showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from DeGuardio.
Horrible takedown attempt by Asshole or perhaps it was just good defense by DeGuardio, which made it look bad.
Asshole shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DeGuardio as he jumps to the side.
DeGuardio misses with a two punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Asshole shoots in looking for a takedown. DeGuardio tries to sprawl out of it but Asshole keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DeGuardio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Scotty DeGuardio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Irritable Asshole.
DeGuardio throws a push kick but Asshole slaps the foot to one side.

DeGuardio drops Asshole with a beautiful combination! Asshole stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - DeGuardio is looking for the KO!

Asshole is rocked!
DeGuardio throws a leg kick which misses Asshole's front leg but catches the back leg as Asshole tries to avoid it.
Asshole is still on wobbly legs! Can DeGuardio finish him?
DeGuardio misses with a hook. Asshole ducked under it nicely.
Asshole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeGuardio tries to avoid it but Asshole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeGuardio to the ground. DeGuardio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

DeGuardio gets in close and instigates a clinch.

DeGuardio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Asshole seems to have recovered his senses.
DeGuardio moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
DeGuardio misses with a head kick.
Asshole drops down looking to force a counter takedown but DeGuardio defends it well.
DeGuardio stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and DeGuardio wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Asshole. No joy for DeGuardio on that attempt.

Asshole closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming DeGuardio to the mat! DeGuardio manages to get full guard.
Asshole is pushing down on DeGuardio's leg trying to pass to half guard. DeGuardio is fighting to maintain full guard but Asshole has managed to sneak the leg through.

Asshole wants to work for an arm triangle but DeGuardio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Asshole stalling.
DeGuardio wants to improve his position but Asshole is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Asshole has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Asshole fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Asshole has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! DeGuardio is forced to tap!
