The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ru lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Torres shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Ru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Ru cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wei Ru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Torres.
Ru scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Torres doesn't seem bothered though.

Torres has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Torres there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ru connects with a body shot that sends Torres's belly button to the back.

Torres seems to have recovered his senses.

Ru drops Torres with a beautiful combination! Torres stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ru is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
