The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ukkonen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Correia on his heels. He'll look to pass Correia's guard now, I'm sure.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Correia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ukkonen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Correia is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ukkonen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ukkonen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Correia stacks Ukkonen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Correia!

Ukkonen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Correia locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Ukkonen is forced to tap!

Paulo Correia spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
