Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ver Cingeto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sig Hemmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sig Hemmer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sig Hemmer!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cingeto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hemmer.
Hemmer drops his shoulder and cracks Cingeto with a huge uppercut! Cingeto goes down! Can Hemmer finish him?
Hemmer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cingeto is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cingeto has his foot on Hemmer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hemmer works his way back into a safe position though.
Cingeto has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hemmer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cingeto.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cingeto is looking for a sweep.
Hemmer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cingeto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cingeto manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Cingeto lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Hemmer is trying desperately to improve position.

Hemmer holds on, trying desperately to control.

Cingeto goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hemmer is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hemmer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hemmer wants to stand but Cingeto is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cingeto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hemmer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cingeto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hemmer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Cingeto is tightening it up a little... Hemmer has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hemmer reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hemmer taps out! nice BJJ there by Cingeto!
