Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akhmed Dudayev (ranked 124 p4p, 828 weight class) and Chief Aztec (ranked 16 p4p, 100 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Aztec!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dudayev scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dudayev throws a looping overhand right but Aztec ducks down to avoid it.
Aztec bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dudayev lands a nice hook to Aztec's body. Aztec takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dudayev misses with a looping left.
It seemed like Aztec was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dudayev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aztec moves away.
Aztec looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dudayev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Aztec counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Aztec swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A little jabbing left from Aztec on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Aztec takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Akhmed Dudayev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dudayev jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dudayev missing with a left hand there. Aztec was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dudayev lands with a straight right. Aztec didn't see that one coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dudayev clobbers Aztec with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Aztec needs to keep his hands up - Dudayev had a free shot at his head there.
Dudayev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Aztec fails to land with a series of punches.
A little feinted left hand from Dudayev on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Aztec swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dudayev moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dudayev connects with a looping right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aztec's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dudayev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Aztec scrambles back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Aztec lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Dudayev throws the left hand but Aztec avoids the punch easily.

Chief Aztec is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dudayev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dudayev throws an off balance right hand
and Aztec counters with a huge left! Dudayev is in big trouble! He's backing up but Aztec isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Dudayev from any more damage. A dominating finish by Aztec!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Aztec!
Chief Aztec made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'You ask me ... what do I want to say? I only have this to say! To the current Welterweight Champion >>> Say My Name, Boy! Speak It Loudly! I'm your DADDY ;-)'.
