Diaz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Machinegun!
Machinegun pushes Diaz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Diaz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Diaz creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Machinegun sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Machinegun is trying to escape and Diaz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Machinegun is forced to tap! Nice work there by Diaz! Very nice indeed!
