Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshinobu Tokugawa (ranked 1987 p4p, 23078 weight class) and Toby Vertongen (ranked 245 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Yoshinobu Tokugawa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yoshinobu Tokugawa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toby Vertongen!

Oh Tokugawa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tokugawa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Vertongen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Vertongen moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Tokugawa goes down! Can Vertongen finish him!?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vertongen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tokugawa's head.
Tokugawa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vertongen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tokugawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vertongen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Horrible takedown attempt by Tokugawa or perhaps it was just good defense by Vertongen, which made it look bad.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tokugawa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vertongen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vertongen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Vertongen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tokugawa eats them both and turns towards Vertongen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Well Vertongen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
