Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nikolai Vladski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.

Lopez misses with a takedown attempt - Vladski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lopez wants to clinch up but Vladski keeps it at a distance.
Vladski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vladski wants it to stay on the feet.
A left and a right from Lopez both land. Nice combination.
Vladski stuffs the takedown attempt from Lopez. Lopez gets slowly back to his feet.
Nikolai Vladski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Lopez.

Vladski cracks Lopez with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Vladski lands a decent elbow from side control.
Vladski trying to control the action but Lopez is working from the bottom.
Lopez tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Vladski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vladski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Vladski controls the position from side control.
Vladski tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lopez's legs.
Vladski is looking to take a break and control but Lopez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lopez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vladski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vladski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lopez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Vladski cracks Lopez with a big right hand but Lopez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lopez prevents Vladski from improving position.

Vladski is working Lopez over with some ground and pound from side control.
Vladski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vladski passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lopez!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vladski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Vladski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lopez is looking to escape.

You get the feeling that Lopez really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Vladski goes for an armbar but Lopez turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lopez.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vladski keeping moving, preventing Lopez from controlling successfully.
Lopez looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vladski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lopez is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nikolai Vladski dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lopez moves forwards but Vladski connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lopez tries to clinch up
and Vladski counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Lopez has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nikolai Vladski!
