The Stuff

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bilal Vinsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dale Holloway!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinsson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Holloway on the side of the head.
Holloway throws a solid leg kick but Vinsson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Holloway.
Holloway tries to clinch up
and Vinsson counters with a straight right hand.
Holloway fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vinsson swats away the attempt to clinch by Holloway.

Holloway gets a double leg takedown into Vinsson's guard.

Vinsson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Holloway off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Holloway drops his hands momentarily and Vinsson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vinsson scores with a hook.
Holloway wants to clinch but Vinsson slips to the side
letting Vinsson counter with a right hand.

Holloway is rocked!

Holloway rushes Vinsson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Holloway is still on wobbly legs! Can Vinsson finish him?
Holloway blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Holloway seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vinsson prevents the takedown attempt.
Holloway tries to score a body lock takedown but Vinsson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
A shot in the inside from Vinsson.
Holloway takes a shot to the head.
Vinsson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Vinsson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Vinsson lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Holloway drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vinsson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bilal Vinsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dale Holloway.
Vinsson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Vinsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vinsson digs a good hook to Holloway's body.
Holloway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Holloway takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Vinsson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Holloway sprawling to the canvas! Holloway rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vinsson finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vinsson throws a monster overhand right that drops Holloway! Vinsson follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
