and De Silva counters with a nice right hand that sends Apolinario toppling to the canvas! Apolinario scrambles and gets back to his feet - can De Silva finish him?!

Apolinario working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. De Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. De Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Apolinario has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but De Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
De Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Apolinario is proving hard to escape from.
De Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Apolinario. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
