PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AB Sly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoliy Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sly comes into the arena with In Flames - My Sweet Shadow blaring out of the sound system. Ivanov has chosen The Terminator Theme Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sly displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ivanov throws out the jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ivanov.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sly.
Ivanov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A big left from Ivanov misses.
Sly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sly tries a low kick but Ivanov avoids it.
Ivanov misses with an uppercut. Sly saw that one coming.
Sly waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Ivanov.

Ivanov misses with a looping left.
Ivanov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ivanov cracks Sly with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ivanov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sly to stand back up!

It looks like AB Sly has been cut.
Sly is breathing heavily.
Ivanov waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Sly.
Sly throws a series of punches but Ivanov avoids them all with ease.
A slow jab from Ivanov misses its intended target.
Sly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ivanov sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Sly's defenses. It connects perfectly with Sly's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
