Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Girl shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eve pinned against the cage. Eve gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Girl counters with a head kick that drops Eve to the mat! Eve scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Girl dives in for a single leg takedown but Eve sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It appears Eve was looking to counter with a kick there.

Eve shoots in and bounces Girl off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

It looked like Eve was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Eve remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Girl goes for a double leg but Eve avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eve continues to drive forward.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Eve stuffs the takedown attempt from Girl. Girl gets slowly back to his feet.
