Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rylee Mannion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

Lawrence rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mannion moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lawrence looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lawrence will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mannion gets a double leg takedown into Lawrence's guard.
Lawrence has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mannion off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Mannion definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lawrence jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mannion walks away with a smile on his face. Lawrence gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lawrence gets tackled into the cage by Mannion. Mannion maintains the clinch.
Lawrence has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mannion is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mannion has Lawrence pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mannion pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lawrence tumbling to the mat - Mannion dives into Lawrence's guard.
Mannion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mannion tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mannion has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mannion working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lawrence is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mannion connects with a decent elbow.

Mannion pushes Lawrence up against the cage in a clinch.

Lawrence tries to throw a body punch but Mannion avoids it by throwing Lawrence back against the cage.
Mannion ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mannion no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Mannion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mannion is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lawrence misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Mannion looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lawrence with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Still in half guard, Mannion seems content to control.
Rylee Mannion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lawrence tries to get to full guard but Mannion has control of the leg.

Lawrence misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Mannion counters with a series of strikes. Lawrence will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mannion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lawrence's guard.
Lawrence wants to stand but Mannion is controlling the position.
Mannion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lawrence tries to clinch there but Mannion circles away.

and Mannion counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lawrence won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Lawrence fails with an attempt to clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Mannion misses its target.
Lawrence shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mannion sprawls well. Mannion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lawrence gets slowly back to his feet.
Lawrence looks to land a body kick but Mannion moved away.
Mannion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mannion is looking to stand but Lawrence has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
