Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Mcmuffin (ranked 4626 p4p, 6475 weight class) and Royler Gracie (ranked 539 p4p, 617 weight class). Royler Gracie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Mcmuffin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcmuffin lands in his opponent's guard.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mcmuffin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mcmuffin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mcmuffin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mcmuffin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie has his foot on Mcmuffin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcmuffin works his way back into a safe position though.

Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mcmuffin frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Mcmuffin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
