Abs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Abs has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Piazza is landing a low percentage of strikes.

It looks like Chizzled Abs has been cut.
Abs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Piazza paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Piazza scores with a sloppy right hand. Abs should have avoided that one.
Piazza works Abs's body with a nice hook.
Abs takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Piazza lands an uppercut, right on the button! Abs tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
