PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angus MacDoughall (ranked 3730 p4p, 3679 weight class) and Dranos Sandus (ranked 467 p4p, 459 weight class). Dranos Sandus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

MacDoughall misses with an uppercut
and Sandus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacDoughall cracks Sandus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
MacDoughall lands an overhand right.
MacDoughall changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
MacDoughall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sandus throws a hook but MacDoughall avoids it easily.
Sandus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacDoughall was well out of range. Poor timing from Sandus.
MacDoughall lands a body shot.
An inside leg kick lands from MacDoughall.
Sandus doesn't manage to clinch there - MacDoughall circles away.
MacDoughall lands a nice hook to Sandus's body. Sandus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Sandus walks into a left hand.
MacDoughall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
MacDoughall slips a jab from Sandus.
MacDoughall lands with a cross.

Sandus looks up at the clock. Bad move! MacDoughall lands a right hand from hell, dropping Sandus. MacDoughall pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
