The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesh misses with a head kick.
Mesh looks to land a combination but Pasty avoids it well.
Mesh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pasty is trying to control Mesh's posture but Mesh avoids it.

Mesh has hold of Pasty's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pasty manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Pasty closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mesh to the mat! Mesh manages to get full guard.

Pasty stands and steps away. Mesh gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mesh fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pasty.

Pasty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mesh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mesh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pasty is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mesh's shoulder. That is not cool.

Pasty is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mesh is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Pasty has control of Mesh's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mesh regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pasty is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mesh can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mesh is taking a breather. Pasty says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mesh lands a nice short elbow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mesh passes to side control.
You can see the frustration on Pasty's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pasty is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mesh off and has taken his back!

Pasty working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Mesh is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Pasty has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Mesh taps out!
