Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edgy Brah (ranked 2930 p4p, 2942 weight class) and Daniel Sainty (ranked 305 p4p, 309 weight class). Brah comes to the cage accompanied by Dropped by Smoke Serpent. Daniel Sainty told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

so Sainty counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Brah has his foot on Sainty's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sainty works his way back into a safe position though.

My spies in Crapollas Gym inform me that Sainty has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Sainty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Brah throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sainty escapes and throws Brah's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brah is desperately trying to improve his position but Sainty has a good base and remains in mount.

Sainty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brah at a distance.
Brah throws a series of punches but Sainty avoids them all with ease.
Sainty shoots in looking for a takedown. Brah tries to sprawl out of it but Sainty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looked like Brah was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sainty.
Brah throws a nice looking combination but Sainty bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brah had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sainty defends it easily.

Brah has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sainty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
