Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

Barru pushes Tanaka up against the cage in a clinch.
Barru tries to pull guard but Tanaka won't allow it.
Tanaka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tanaka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Barru escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Barru clinches up with Tanaka and pushes him back against the cage.

Barru manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tanaka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tanaka sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Barru doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Tanaka paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Barru - great work!
