Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aguta Grizzly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zuillnic Canto!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

Canto lands a glancing blow to the side of Grizzly's head.
Canto throws a hook but Grizzly avoids it easily.
Grizzly throws a nice looking combination but Canto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Canto is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Grizzly with a body shot.

That kick from Grizzly tenderised Canto's leg. Canto is trying to keep his angry face on.

And Canto tries to counter it with a takedown but Grizzly pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Canto is looking for a kimura but Grizzly is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Canto to get the leverage.
Canto seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Canto is pressing down on Grizzly's thigh, looking to free his foot. Grizzly is holding on for now.
Grizzly manages to get to full guard.
Canto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Canto passes Grizzly's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Grizzly won't allow Canto to pass to mount.

Canto wants to take his opponent's back but Grizzly doesn't allow it.
Canto looking for a guillotine from mount but Grizzly is having none of it.
Grizzly is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Canto has taken his back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Grizzly is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Canto has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Grizzly has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Canto is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Grizzly is in a bad position with Canto working for a choke. Grizzly manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Grizzly working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Canto's head.
Grizzly would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Grizzly stands up over Canto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Canto is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Canto is looking to advance position but Grizzly won't allow it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Grizzly throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Grizzly 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Grizzly swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Canto with the counter takedown but Grizzly avoids it easily.
Canto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grizzly moves away.

Canto shoots in and gets a takedown into Grizzly's guard.
Grizzly wants to stand up but Canto is controlling him.
Canto works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Grizzly is looking to control Canto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Grizzly avoid being mounted?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Canto looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Canto looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Grizzly makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

It looks like Zuillnic Canto has been cut.
Canto fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Grizzly on the side of the head.

Grizzly uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Canto.

and Canto counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Grizzly!

Grizzly stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Canto throws up his legs and catches Grizzly in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Grizzly tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Canto! That came out of nowhere!
