Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Scott Columbus (ranked 16054 p4p, 22576 weight class) and Johnny Waldron (ranked 591 p4p, 579 weight class). Columbus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blood Of The Kings. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Waldron has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Waldron and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I was talking to Columbus's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Waldron drops his hands momentarily and Columbus takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Johnny Waldron's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Some bone on bone action there as Waldron checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Columbus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
