PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Kincaid (ranked 5368 p4p, 4762 weight class) and Reso Panj (ranked 56 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Reso Panj!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Glass.

Kincaid has Panj up against the cage in a clinch.

Kincaid jumps guard and drags Panj to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kincaid wants to sweep here but Panj controlling him for the moment.

Kincaid working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Panj doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Panj manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Panj is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kincaid is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kincaid has escaped and now he's on top!

Kincaid is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Panj can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Panj is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kincaid is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Panj to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Panj shrugs it off.

Panj has gone for a leg lock! Kincaid slips out almost immediately though and dives into Panj's guard.

Panj shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kincaid is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Panj's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Panj's back!

Panj is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kincaid gets his way!

Panj refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Panj's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Arthur Kincaid!
A relieved looking Arthur Kincaid thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
