Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masai Kyoshi (ranked 4125 p4p, 4299 weight class) and Thomas Bayner (ranked 521 p4p, 536 weight class). Thomas Bayner is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masai Kyoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Bayner!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.

Kyoshi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A big left from Bayner misses.
Kyoshi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bayner fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bayner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kyoshi has time to react.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bayner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Bayner stalks Kyoshi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kyoshi's face. Kyoshi staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bayner cracks Kyoshi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kyoshi looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Bayner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
