Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergej Kersikov (ranked 4724 p4p, 4766 weight class) and Jum Jum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sergej Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jum Jum!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kersikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kersikov with a poor takedown
and Jum counters with a two punch combo.
Kersikov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jum avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kersikov.
Jum shoots for a double leg takedown but Kersikov sprawls well. He's pushed Jum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kersikov drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jum has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kersikov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kersikov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A head kick by Kersikov misses

and Jum counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jum is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Jum might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kersikov is working an open guard so Jum takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jum circles away from the clinch attempt

and Jum counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kersikov!
Kersikov is looking to get back to his feet here but Jum is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kersikov's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jum is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kersikov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kersikov tries to break free.
Kersikov has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Jum.

Jum is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Kersikov taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Jum.
