Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marmuro Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scream Aim Fire. Takamura is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Number One Son - Becoming. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marmuro Takamura!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura's corner calls for a 1-2. Takamura obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Jason Jones has been cut.
Takamura is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.
Jones prevents Takamura from escaping the position.
Takamura is not content to let Jones control the position.
Takamura tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones trying to control the action but Takamura is working from the bottom.
Takamura explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
A slow jab from Takamura misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Takamura fails in his attempt to clinch.
A combination from Takamura does no damage.
Takamura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Takamura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Takamura's guard.
Jones is trying to control. Takamura wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Takamura is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount!
You get the feeling that Takamura really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Takamura is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones.
Takamura is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones working for a submission but Takamura is keeping him at bay.
Jones swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jason Jones!
