Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ewww Gross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noonan clobbers Gross with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Ewww Gross has been cut.
Noonan scores with a punch to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Noonan jabs Gross right on the nose. Gross blinks but takes it well.
Noonan misses with a few strikes there.
Noonan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Gross takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Noonan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gross has time to react.

Noonan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Noonan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Oh Gross is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gross has momentary wrist control but Noonan slips an elbow through the middle.
Gross on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gross tries to get out of the position.

Gross tries to clinch there but Noonan circles away.
Gross avoids the body shot from Noonan.

Noonan throws a jab when Gross was well out of range.

Gross has closed the distance and engaged Noonan in a clinch.
Gross blocks an elbow strike.
Gross tries to land knees in the clinch but Noonan avoids the damage to the body.

Noonan jumps guard but Gross stands there with Noonan around his waist. Noonan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Noonan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Noonan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noonan thuds his right hand into Gross's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Noonan throws a right and a left that Gross avoids nicely.
Gross tries to clinch but Noonan is having none of it.

Gross takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Noonan tries to break the clinch but Gross is controlling the position.

Noonan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gross lands a couple of shots from the bottom.

Gross makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Noonan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Noonan wants to sweep here but Gross controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Noonan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Noonan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Noonan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gross's guard.

Noonan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gross is proving hard to escape from.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Noonan throws a leg kick that misses.
Noonan misses the shot to the body.
Gross tries to clinch but Noonan moves out of range.
Gross blocks a head kick by Noonan.
Noonan tries to bum rush Gross with a series of wild strikes but Gross uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gross shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gross wants to control from the top but Noonan keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gross stands up over Noonan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Noonan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Noonan.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gross looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gross tries to close the distance and clinch up but Noonan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
