Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Kreten (ranked 25397 p4p, 4864 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreten is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Igor Kreten looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Slim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kreten seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kreten is breathing heavily.
Slim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slim throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kreten counters with a series of strikes. Slim will be more careful next time no doubt.
Slim looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Igor Kreten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barbados Slim.
Slim shoots in looking for a takedown but Kreten manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Slim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kreten slaps away a takedown attempt from Slim, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kreten tries to counter by clinching up but Slim breaks away and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Slim clinches up with Kreten and pushes him back against the cage.

Slim's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Slim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kreten throws out the jab.

Slim drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Slim decides to stand back up. Slim steps back and let's Kreten get back to his feet.

Slim clinches up with Kreten and pushes him back against the cage.

Slim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Slim jumps into guard, dragging Kreten to the mat.

Kreten got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slim has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kreten has managed to get both his arms back between Slim's legs - danger averted.
Kreten has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Slim is working Kreten over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Slim stands and throws Kreten's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The referee warns Kreten that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Kreten wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Slim keeps control of the position easily here as Kreten tries to buck him off.

Kreten is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Kreten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slim on the ground.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Slim.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kreten is trying to remain composed but Slim is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
