PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Destin Craven (ranked 2207 p4p, 22524 weight class) and Ivan Mrka (ranked 233 p4p, 515 weight class). Mrka has chosen Prokofiev as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Mrka tries to clinch up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mrka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Craven jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mrka wants to counter with a clinch but Craven pushes him away.

Craven will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Craven has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Craven thows a huge punch but Mrka dodges it nicely.

Craven is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mrka defends it well.

Craven has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mrka doesn't defend quickly enough and Craven has managed to lock this one up! Can Mrka escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Craven on a fantastic submission victory.

Destin Craven decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Ivan Mrka spoke after the fight, saying 'No way..! Are the judges blind?! Lets run this back right now!!'.
