Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Armstrong!

Armstrong clinches with his opponent.

Armstrong pulls Gulyas into guard.
Gulyas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gulyas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gulyas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Armstrong's head.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Armstrong is on top in guard.

Gulyas controls Armstrong momentarily but Armstrong frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gulyas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Armstrong stands up and waves to Gulyas to follow him.
No luck for Gulyas with that takedown attempt.
We've been told by Gulyas's head coaches at Cozad MMA Montreal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Armstrong has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gulyas clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Armstrong working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Gulyas is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Armstrong has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Gulyas taps out!
