Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jules Caesar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Riley Knox!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.

Knox fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Caesar, pushing him back against the ropes.
Knox throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Caesar blocks it with crossed arms.
Caesar with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Caesar swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Caesar is trying to push Knox away but Knox has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Knox tries to work over Caesar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Caesar fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Caesar struggles to land a body shot inside as Knox controls his hands.

Caesar comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Riley Knox has been cut.

Knox lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Caesar backwards.

Knox is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Caesar is defending well for now.

Caesar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Knox loads up on a big right hand but Caesar slips the punch.

Knox drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Caesar onto his butt! Caesar pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

It looks like Jules Caesar has been cut.

Caesar throws a quick counter head kick but Knox was just out of range.
Caesar connects with a solid leg kick.

Caesar misses with a hook. Knox ducked under it nicely.
Jules Caesar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knox stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Caesar.

and Knox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Knox walks into a straight right hand from Caesar.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Knox checks a leg kick.
Knox is looking to clinch.
Caesar was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Caesar lands a right hook to the body.
Caesar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knox.
Caesar connects with a crisp jab.
Sloppy strikes from Knox. Those never looked like landing.
Caesar scores with a decent looking hook.

Knox buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Caesar counters with a nice body kick.
Knox on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Caesar. Caesar obviously looking to wear him down.
Knox swats away the attempt to clinch by Caesar.
Caesar throws a hook but Knox blocks it.
Caesar blocks the body kick.

Caesar lands a head kick that bluckles Knox and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Caesar no doubt looking to push for a finish!

and Caesar makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Caesar throws a leg kick but Knox sees it coming and moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fight stays on the outside here - Knox looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Knox throws out a loose jab but Caesar uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jules Caesar dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Knox drives through and clinches with Caesar against the ropes.
Knox tries to land knees in the clinch but Caesar avoids the damage to the body.
Riley Knox seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Caesar throws an elbow but misses.

Caesar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knox connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Caesar's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Caesar - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
