Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Suki Tanaka (ranked 3439 p4p, 3218 weight class) and Rickson Time (ranked 155 p4p, 151 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Time fails with the takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Time has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tanaka scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Time makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Time.
Tanaka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Time is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tanaka is controlling him.
Time is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Time is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Time prevents Tanaka from standing back up.

Time has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tanaka defend it? Time steps over the head and cranks it - Tanaka is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Time!
