Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Affectionately Eve (ranked 4876 p4p, 4965 weight class) and Very Girl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Eve bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Eve has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Eve throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Girl tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Eve is in Girl's guard.

Eve throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Girl was covering up waiting for the punch and Eve finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Eve stands up and waves to Girl to follow him.
Eve stuffs the takedown attempt from Girl. Girl gets slowly back to his feet.

Eve shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Girl manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Eve decides to stand back up. Eve steps back and let's Girl get back to his feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Eve closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Girl looks like he's trying to stand up.
Eve not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Eve takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Eve stops Girl from getting back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Eve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Girl can do to turn this around?

Eve shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Eve was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Girl sneaks out the side door and pushes Eve away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Eve darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Eve stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Girl to get to his feet.

Girl shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eve pinned against the cage. Eve gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Affectionately Eve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Very Girl.

Eve shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Girl napping and manages to drive through into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Affectionately Eve will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Eve fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Girl to the ground. Eve is now in Girl's guard.
Girl is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Eve is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eve stands and steps away. Girl gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Girl misses with a takedown attempt - Eve sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Eve throws a leg kick which misses Girl's front leg but catches the back leg as Girl tries to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Girl fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Affectionately Eve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Very Girl.
