The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzales darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Fisher is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gonzales pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fisher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gonzales can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gonzales might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fisher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fisher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gonzales drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fisher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gonzales has Fisher in his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
