Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Rafael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Jordao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordao swats away the attempt to clinch by Rafael.
Jordao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rafael has a takedown stuffed.
Jordao tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jordao looks to land a right hand but Rafael moved out of range.

Rafael darts in and clinches Jordao up against the cage.
Jordao prevents the takedown attempt.
Rafael tries to pull guard but Jordao won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Rafael. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rafael.
Rafael on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jordao crunches a lovely knee into Rafael's ribcage.

Jordao breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rafael fails with a takedown attempt.
Jordao keeps the fight on the outside.
Jordao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rafael tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jordao paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rafael keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jordao.
Jordao lands with a kick to the temple. Rafael shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Carlos Rafael has been cut.

Jordao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jordao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A big right from Jordao misses.
Jordao tries a head kick but it misses.
Jordao throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rafael dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jordao. That did some damage!
Jordao looks gassed!
Rafael lands a front kick.

Rafael shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rafael was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jordao has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rafael throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Will Rafael go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Rafael is cranking Jordao's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jordao! He's tightened the choke and Jordao is tapping out!
